Surface Preparation: laminate flooring

  • Cleaned the subfloor of any debris and ensured it was dust-free.

  • Checked the surface for evenness and leveled minor irregularities.

  • Underlayment Installation:

  • Laid down underlayment for improved sound insulation and cushioning.

  • Laminate Flooring Installation:

  • Started laying from the corner nearest to the entrance for easier access.

  • Installed laminate planks along the longest wall, beginning with the first row and using a click-lock system for connection.

  • Periodically used expansion spacers to maintain the necessary expansion gap along the walls.

  • Cutting and Installing Subsequent Rows:

  • Used trimmed planks to offset joints and achieve a natural appearance.

  • Trimmed laminate planks precisely as needed to close long seams.

  • Finishing the Installation:

  • Fitted the final rows of laminate to match the room's dimensions.

  • Installed baseboards to cover the expansion gaps along the walls.

  • Completion of Work:

  • Cleaned the installation area of debris and waste.

  • Inspected the installation for any problematic areas and made adjustments as necessary. laminate flooring
